With an extremely weak team that included some last minute additions Albion were soundly beaten by a decent Monton side. Once again poor defending cost us several goals. FT 5-1.
Manager McGuire said; “ I can’t fault the lads for turning up and giving it their best, but to be frank that line would could never win that game, we need our best players in the team to stand any chance against the decent opposition we face each week”.
