Match report for Wilmslow Albion 1st Team 1 - 1 home draw with Fives Athletic (22/08/2009)
Albion 1st team had to settle for an opening day 1-1 draw at home to Fives Athletic. Having gone a goal down, 2nd half sub Hargreaves missed a penalty, but redeemed himself minutes later by scoring a free kick. Albion had a clear goal not given, when the opposition keeper caught an inswinging corner over his goal line. but the ref failed to see it went over the line.
At least we have the first (of hopefully many points) on the board.
